Some motorcycles are simply bigger than the rest, and the Rocket 3 Storm GT is the biggest of all. This brand new, unregistered 2026 model is finished in Sapphire Black with Carnival Red, a combination that looks sinister in the shade and gets more dramatic in the sun. The red lifts the tank and sets it against a darkened stance of black bodywork and components, so the bike looks purposeful before you’ve even pressed the start button.
Then there’s the engine. Under that tank sits a 2,458cc inline three-cylinder, the largest production motorcycle engine in the world. In Storm form it makes around 182PS and a colossal 225Nm of torque. Most of that torque is there from tickover, so overtaking is a flick of the wrist in any gear. It pulls hard and smoothly all the way through the rev range, with a deep, thundering triple soundtrack that no twin or four-cylinder can copy.
The Storm GT isn’t only about outright power, though. The GT is the long-distance version of the Rocket 3, with a comfortable, relaxed riding position, a low seat, a flyscreen to take the edge off the wind, and a passenger backrest. Heated grips come as standard for cold mornings and late-season rides, and cruise control takes the strain on motorway stretches. Keyless ignition means the fob stays in your pocket, so you just sit on, press the button and let the triple fire up. Shaft drive means no chain to clean, lube or adjust.
Don’t let the size fool you, because this is a serious piece of engineering. Fully adjustable Showa suspension keeps the bike composed and controlled. Brembo Stylema front calipers give you the stopping power a bike with this much performance needs. Rider modes and cornering-aware ABS and traction control add confidence, while the lightweight cast aluminium wheels help the Storm turn in with far more agility than its numbers suggest. The Storm updates also brought a sharper, more aggressive look, with dark, premium finishes throughout.
Being brand new and unregistered, this Rocket 3 Storm GT is exactly as it left the factory. It has no previous owner and no delivery miles, so you’re the first to ride it. Triumph also offers more than 50 genuine accessories for the Rocket 3, so you can tailor it to your own idea of the perfect Rocket.
The Rocket 3 is a bike people remember, and Storm GTs in Carnival Red don’t stay on the showroom floor for long. If you’ve ever wanted the ultimate Triumph, contact Fowlers Triumph today on 0117 971 8880 before someone else gets there first.
